Genuine Desire In A Woman

It’s important to know that God is more than willing to impact any woman who is willing to be a vessel that He can easily use. He is not looking for a perfect woman, He is not looking for a woman who has it all together but a woman who has a genuine desire. It’s one thing to have a desire to do something for God but it is totally a different ball game, to have a genuine desire to be a vessel that is willing to die to self, in order for God to have total control for His use.
I have been looking into how the Spirit of the living God has been so active in the lives of women from generations to generations, spanning from the Old Testament. God was not limited to gender, He was and He is still looking for an available and willing vessel to use, for His Agenda to be accomplished in humanity at any given time, which I believe will last until the coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
As much as we are unique and possess different gifts, anointing’s and our purposes may vary depending on what God created us to accomplish, it is very important to have the desire of the gifts of the Spirit in order to be effective and impactful, in edifying the Body of Christ as women in this generation. When the Spirit of the Living God is ignored, Christianity becomes like any other religion, your life becomes ordinary and your walk with God is limited.
Let’s look at 1 Corinthians 12:4-11  There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. Apostle Paul was laying down an important mystery of the Holy Spirit and the diversities of gifts He bestows on believers as He wills for the profit of all. It’s important to know the gifts of the Holy Spirit are never meant for personal gain but for the edification of the Body of Christ.
As women who desire to be conduits of the Nature of Christ in our families, in our careers, in our businesses, in our callings, in our relationships and definitely in our societies which make up our Nation, we have to be intentional in cultivating a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. There is no short cut to the anointing and the power of God, since the Holy Spirit is the custodian and Him being the custodian, we have to be yielded to Him and appreciate His assignment.
So, someone might ask what is the assignment of the Holy spirit in relation to us operating in His gifts?
1.He activates our Spiritual senses with the realm of the Spirit.1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
2.He gives us revelation and understanding of Scriptures. It’s one thing to read the Word of God with our senses and it is totally another thing to read the Word of God while being led by the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
People tend to walk in error whenever they read the Word of God without the Holy Spirit. There are people from different religions who have read the Bible but when they tell you about the Bible, they will simply tell you it’s just another book since they have no revelation from the Holy Spirit because He is not dwelling in them.
The Holy Spirit has the entire knowledge to make Scriptures come alive and the intents of God are made known to us.
3.He offers us guidance and direction-I will be real with you, truth is dangerous without guidance. John 16:13-However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. The Holy Spirit is the one who will always show us the direction to take and led us in the path way of a victorious life, if we are willing to be yielded to Him through God’s revealed Word and our submission to Him. Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it, “whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.
4.He offers an avenue for renewal and transformation-When we submit to the ministry of renewal and transformation by the enablement of the Holy Spirit, we end up evolving into superior versions of women who will make impact for God’s glory in our spheres of influence. 2 Corinthians 3:18  But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
5.He empowers us. The greatest need of a transformed woman is empowerment. Acts 1:8-But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
In the Next Blog Post, I will divulge more on Spiritual Gifts of Women in the Bible, which I believe will be a great insight for any woman to be encouraged and inspired that God is still in the business of using women, however my question to you my beloved sis , are you willing to take this journey with the  Holy Spirit? Are you willing to allow the Holy Spirit reveal to you the mysteries of God and are you willing to die to self?

Love ReinaBeaty.
