Deal With The Little Foxes

Ephesians 4:29-31 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
We need to be aware of some of the things that slow us down as believers that hinder us from manifesting God’s glory and walking in dominion, are relatively small but have a great impact. They include gossip, slander, rumor-mongering, gluttony, greed, malice and many other vices. They may appear harmless but they are lethal. They have the power to ruin a person’s life if not addressed in the way the Word of God prescribes. Song of Solomon 2:15 – Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.
The Word of God describes them as little foxes and it encourages us to deal with them decisively because they attack the vineyards of our lives when they are about to bear a bounty harvest. It is the Will of God that as His children, we overcome every sin however tiny it might appear. Sin is dangerous no matter how harmless it may appear and we should have a clear consciousness at all times if we desire to have a meaningful walk with God.
One of the reason believers fall prey to destructive little foxes is because they lack FOCUS. Instead of being Kingdom minded, they lose track and discuss people and events rather than focusing on helpful ideas. Every believer ought to lay aside every desire, thought, speech pattern, idea and emotion that is not in the Will of God.
Beware of the little foxes lest they ruin the vineyard that is in bloom.

Love Reina Beaty.
