Ask For Wisdom

It’s been a minute since I set my eyes and hands in this world of social media and blogging however, in my journey of faith I am learning there is nothing I should be attached to that I can’t lay it down for God, when He asks me to. Spiritual nourishment is important and obedience is far much better than any sacrifice I can offer Him from a place of disobedience.
So, I am back and looking forward to sharing with you simple to comprehend Christ centered articles which are God breathed .It’s my prayer God will minister to you in a special way and He will always have a special place in your heart as you get to know Him more.Personally, I have made it an everyday habit to always ask God for His Wisdom and not only asking Him for wisdom, but also a heart that is obedient ,humble, patient and bold to apply this wisdom.
Let’s take a journey to the Book of 1 Kings 3:7-13 – Now, O Lord my God, you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. 11 So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies 12 I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! 13 And I will also give you what you did not ask for riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life!
From the above context of Scripture,God was pleased with King Solomon for asking for wisdom and not long life, riches, fame or the death of enemies . He knew in granting wisdom to King Solomon, it will give him access to the rest of the things he did not ask for.
So,if you are confused and don’t know what to do, which decision to make or what path to choose, cry out to God and ask Him for wisdom to frame your choices at every crossroad of life. James 1:5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. Truth be told, folly makes comfort driven decisions and not calling-inspired decisions. Decisions that succumb to temptations, to impatience, pressure and react without regard to counsel or consequences.

In a nutshell ,don’t be quick to make short-sighted decisions while underestimating their impact upon your destiny, your purpose, your loved ones, your witness and testimony, as a person who desires to live a life of impact that honors God.

Pray With Me:-

Heavenly Father I thank for you are extraordinary and I believe you will accomplish extraordinary things through me. Increase your wisdom in me that will enable me to make the right choices in life that will give you honor and glory. Today, I decree and declare I won’t let past failures and disappointments keep me from progressing in life. Give me ideas, insight and concepts that will bring deliverance to many, for I am fully aware I am not in this world by chance and neither am I in this decade by coincidence. Let your wisdom and courage rest upon me, awaken me from slumber and teach me how to walk circumspectly in this hour.I thank you for having anointed me to impart those who are in my sphere of influence with the best version of who you created me to be. In Jesus Mighty Name Amen.

Love ReinaBeaty.
