I bumped across this powerful prayer by Spiritual Father Bishop Allan Kiuna and it’s my prayer, sharing it with you on this plat form, you will be stirred up to consistently pray for the Body of Christ all over the world.
1 Kings:19:7-8 (NKJV)
And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
We lift up the body of Christ throughout the world, we ask that your light may shine especially in this time. Forgive us where we have turned to the world or lifted up idols, forgive us for our religiosity and our division as the body of Christ. We pray for a restoration of the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost, for reverence and for righteousness. We pray for the ministers of the word, instill them with the heart of a shepherd, the Grace to lead, and fresh oil for their assignment. Restore us to being the vessel that causes Christ to be known, restore every man of God who feels weak, restore strength to every pastor’s wife who feels burdened. Even as the church buildings get shut, the word of God shall grow, the body of christ shall be nourished. Refresh our faith, refresh our prayer life, renew our fire for you. Feed us lord, for the journey is still long, this is not the end, but a beginning of something new. Renew our tongues that we may edify your people with a fresh word, open the eyes of our understanding that we may know you in this season.
We decree that in dark times, we shall be a light unto nations, an instrument of preservation, and a house of bread. We decree believing that our light won’t be dimmed, we shall continue to speak FAITH OVER FEAR!
