GREAT I AM.

Hallo Lovelies,

We all need to know God “personally” for ourselves through scriptures.On this particular post,i’ll divulge more on how God introduces Himself to us in His word. He reveals Himself to us in many ways on a daily basis and it’s His desire as our loving father, to know Him in a deeper level.As you encounter each new day,get to understand you are well covered, your future is in God’s hands and above all, He cares about every nitty-gritty detail in your life.

Who Is GOD???

I am one

Galatians 3:20 –Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.

Mark 12:29 – Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

1 Timothy 2:5 –For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Deuteronomy 6:4 –Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

James 2:19 – You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble

I am who I am

Exodus 3:14- And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

I am God alone

Psalm 86:10– For You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are God.

1 Kings 8:60-That all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other.

John 17:3- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

I am truth

John 3:33-He who has His testimony has certified God is true.

I am love

1 John 4:7-8 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Ephesians 2:4-But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us

1 John 4:16– And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

I am the Alpha and the Omega

Revelation 21:6 – And He said to me, “It is done!  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

Revelation 1:8 – I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,”says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 22:13 – I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

I am for you

Romans 8:31-What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us who can be against us??

I am not the author of confusion

1 Corinthians 14:33-For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

I am from everlasting to ever lasting

Psalms 90:2-Before the mountains were brought forth,Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

Isaiah 40:28– Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

1 Chronicles 16:36-Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people said, “Amen!” and praised the Lord.

I am your healer

Jeremiah 33:6- Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth

Exodus 15:26 -and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Psalm 147:3- He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

I am the author and finisher of your faith

Hebrews 12:2– looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I am Spirit

John 4:24– God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

I am the creator of Heaven and Earth

Psalms 146:5-6- Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever.

Genesis 1:1– In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth

Isaiah 37:16– “O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

I am faithful

Deuteronomy 32:4-He is the Rock, his works are perfect and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

1 Corinthians 1:9-God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24– May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

I am over all

Ephesians 4:6- One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Psalms 95:3-For the Lord is the great God,and the great King above all gods.

Romans 9:5-Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.

I am wiser than men

1 Corinthians 1:25- Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Romans 11:33-Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

I am good

Psalm 145:9– The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.

1Timothy 4:4- For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving.

Mark 10:18-So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

I am revealed

Romans 1:17– For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

I am able

2 Corinthians 9:8-And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Matthew 3:9– And do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Hebrews 11:19– Concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

I am glorified in the son

John 13:31– So, when he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.

I am among you in your midst

1 Corinthians 14:25-And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.

Deuteronomy 6:15-For the Lord your God is a jealous God among you, lest the anger of the Lord your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.

Luke 17:21– Nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

I am Father

Ephesians 4:6- One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Philippians 2:11– And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Malachi 2:10- Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?Why do we deal treacherously with one another, By profaning the covenant of the fathers?

I am your witness

Philippians 1:8- For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:9– For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

1 Thessalonians 2:5– For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness God is witness.

I am merciful

Ephesians 2:4- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

Deuteronomy 4:31- For the Lord your God is a merciful God, He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

2 Samuel 24:14- And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

I am not partial

Romans 2:11- For there is no partiality with God.

Deuteronomy 10:17- For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

Acts 10:34– Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality

I am the Author of peace

2 Thessalonians 3:16- Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

1 Corinthians 14:33-For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

I am not a man

1 Samuel 15:29- And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man that He should relent.”

Numbers 23:19- “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

I am almighty

Revelation 15:3- They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are your ways King of the saints!

Genesis 17:1– When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

Revelation 11:17- “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

I am slow to anger

Psalms 145:8- The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.

Joel 2:13-So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness;and He relents from doing harm.

Nahum 1:3- The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

I am unchained

2 Timothy 2:9- for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.

I am your song

Exodus 15:2- The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him;My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Psalms 118:14- The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

I am just

Job 34:12- Surely God will never do wickedly,nor will the Almighty pervert justice.

Hebrews 6:10- For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Deuteronomy 32:4– He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

I am highly exalted

Philippians 2:9- Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.

I am a warrior

Isaiah 42:13- The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.

Exodus 15:3- The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name.

Zephaniah 3:17- The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

I am your rock and refuge

Psalms 18:2- The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

2 Samuel 22:32-33- For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

Psalm 46:1– God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

I am holy

Isaiah 57:15- For this is what the high and exalted One says he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Revelation 4:8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”

I am light

Psalm 44:3-For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.

1 John 1:5-This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

I am a consuming fire

Exodus 24:17-The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Hebrews 12:29-For our God is a consuming fire.

I am the righteous judge

Psalms 7:11- God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

2 Thessalonians 1:5- So that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;

Psalm 75:7– But God is the Judge: He puts down one,and exalts another.

I am savior of all people

1 Timothy 2:3- For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior

Matthew 18:11- For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.

1 Timothy 4:10- For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

I am with you in battle

I am working in you

Philippians 2:13- For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

I am your praise

Deuteronomy 10:21– He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
