Spending time with my nieces and nephew is such an amazing experience; memories flood my mind about my childhood. They remind me how free, Innocent and sincere a child is. Take some time and ask any child what they want to be, you will be so marveled of the many professionals they want to be at a go from a Doctor, a pilot, a nurse, a police man and the list can go on and on. They are not afraid to venture into all those professionals at the same time, they know each and everything is possible. What an incredible faith do they possess. I believe you can still recall some memories of your childhood to; you used to be like those little children that play around your neighborhood, who are not afraid to believe. With age and life experiences, some things happened and you came to learn, you are limited hence settling for less than what you believed in. Maybe your teacher told you,you can’t rise above your academic performance, Your parents might have told you, you can’t manage to be more than your siblings, the society might have told you, you are from a poor back ground or you can’t achieve more than what your family has achieved. I mean the list is endless of things that might have happened to you, that you stopped believing. Along the way you have learn’t to be cautious, you guard yourself physically and emotionally, you are not willing to take any risk and before you know it, you are actually settling for less than what God designed you for. The truth is, we are all full of untapped potentials but we are afraid of rejection, of being hurt, of being criticized and all this mounts from one word which is ‘FEAR’.
Recently, I was reflecting on God’s word about the three servants, who were left with talents by their master in Matthew 25:14-28.Have you ever asked yourself why, the 3rd servant decided to hide his talent than invest it? I believe some if not all, must have different answers according to ones revelation of the scripture but one of the reason is ‘FEAR’. The servant replied to his master in Matthew 25:2’So I was afraid (to lose the talent)and I went and hid your talent in the ground.See, you have what is your own.He was afraid of losing the talent and he ended up burying it in the ground, than investing it.
In Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. We are the ground and many times out of fear, we end up burying our talents, potentials and gifts within us because of ‘FEAR’. Fear of failure, fear of being mocked, fear of the unknown, fear of man or fear of hard work .
Have you ever thought the tragedy of failing to tap into your potential? Simple!! Life is too short and once you fail to use your gifts they will be buried for eternity, when your time is up.

In one of my posts, I have blogged about we all have spiritual gifts and to function in those gifts, we have to move in faith and allow the Holy Spirit to work through us. Yes! You have prayed, fasted and studied God’s word but sitting and doing nothing with what God has deposited in you is wrong,Do something!!!Trust me, when I tell you, there will be different emotions in heaven ,some will be happy and others will be regretting because they never tapped into their God given gifts, even though they were born gain.It will be too late to do go back and do what you were supposed to do. A Lot of people dread about judgment day, reason being, they only focus on being judged on what they did wrong. Let me shock your bubbles, the worst judgment will be, to be judged on what you did not do and you were supposed to do. I know someone reading this post might be thinking, hey!Reina you don’t understand, I have tried and i don’t know how to start that journey in my life?
Here is the good news; as long as you are alive, God is not yet done with you!!! You still have time to do what you are meant to do and you still have time to fulfill your God given purpose. Hello!! This is not even about you, it’s about your next generations to come after you and God’s will being fulfilled through you. Look from this perspective!! How many lives can be transformed through you? How many young people, can actually change through your life style that honors God? How many souls can be won in God’s kingdom, because you took the risk to venture into the unknown? How many families will have a meal, a shelter to call home just because you obeyed to follow God’s will over your life? I challenge you,to do something and make a choice to embrace faith and not fear to venture into what you were meant to do.
Mirror on God’s word and embrace it:-
John 14:27 (AMP)
Peace I leave with you; My (perfect) peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. (Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.)
Joshua 1:9 (AMP)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Isaiah 41:10 (AMP)
Do not fear (anything), for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God.I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand (a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation).’
Matthew 10:28 (AMP)
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell
1 Peter 3:13-14 (AMP)
Now who is there to hurt you if you become enthusiastic for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness (though it is not certain that you will), you are still blessed (happy, to be admired and favored by God). Do not be afraid of their intimidating threats, nor be troubled or disturbed (by their opposition).
1 John 4:18 (AMP)
There is no fear in love (dread does not exist). But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves (the expectation of divine) punishment, so the one who is afraid (of God’s judgment) is not perfected in love (has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love).

I Love You And Am Praying For You🙏🏿
