He alone can fix you.

Life at times may offer you a fair share of challenges and some of them get you off guard or they can be as a result of some wrong choices, you might have made along the way. I believe am speaking on behalf of so many people reading this post, who are frustrated, discouraged, disappointed and maybe on the verge of giving up. Have you ever done something and you knew very well, you might face some serious consequences if things did not turn the way you had planned??? But you went ahead and did what you were not supposed to do??? I simply have no rough idea who will bump into this post but God knows you, so no sugar coating, remove your mask and be real with yourself and allow God to minister to you through this post.

Recently, I happened to reach out to a young man, who happened to have screwed up big time and he felt deep within him, God had given up on him. His poor choices in life made him feel like a disappointment to his loved ones and due to the reactions he got from people he loved and cared about, he felt that God viewed him in the same manner. Out of guilt, condemnation and being judged, he slipped back to his past worldly lifestyle, which did not make his situation any better. In one of my previous posts, I have blogged about Moab has nothing new to offer which paints a picture, how your past mistakes and habits have nothing new to offer if you ever think of turning back.

We all need to understand the devil is very calculating, he knows very well you are imperfect, he knows very well you are bound to make some mistakes along the way and he knows very well, if you know who you are and whose you are, you will not buy into his lies of condemnation and guilt. Unfortunately, most people are buying into his lies and slipping back into their former ways, which is the devil’s strategy to win people back to his schemes of destruction.

It all starts with:-

1. You withdrawing from God,
2. You barely attend church and you feel deep within you, you are not a good person. One thing most people fail to realize is, the church is not a club but a hospital, where imperfect people with all kinds of issues congregate. The enemy is on a mission to disconnect you, from where you can be changed positively. I have shared about looking for a perfect church.
3. You don’t feel like reading his word reason being, your mind is clogged with fear and guilt
4. You don’t want to spend time with God in prayer because you have already created a mindset, you can’t hear him and neither can He talk to you.
5. You have already categorized God to be like a man, due to how people have treated you after you slipped and made some poor choices that had serious consequences.
6. You have already created a mindset, God has given you enough chances but you end up blowing them up.

Above are some of the tactics the devil uses to speak to your mind., to entangle you, to condemn you and before you know it, you are far away from God.

I am here on a mission to reach out to you my beloved, yes you!!! You have messed up big time but you want to fix that mess on your own so that you will not be judged by men. Trust me on this!!! that fixture you are trying on your own (which can be, procuring an abortion, stealing to pay a debt, lying to conceal the truth, getting back to drug abuse, or even getting back to toxic relationships which you think will offer you some happiness and consolation) is temporal with dangerous consequences later on. Paying too much attention to what men will say, than turning your face on God for repentance, is always the crack the devil uses to infuse people with His deception. You can either choose to concentrate on your sin and be miserable or you can concentrate on God’s forgiveness, mercy and be happy. Do you know King David had screwed up big time and said 2 Samuel 24:14 (NKJV)“I am in great distress, Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.” He preferred to fall into the hand of God than in the hand of a man. God is merciful and he is more than willing to fix you up.

As we close in 2016 stop thinking God sees you the way people see you!!! God is a God of another chance the worst you can do is, fall into the same traps of the enemy come 2017 which will make you live a life of defeat

Yes, there might be consequences for your actions but that does not mean, God does not love you or care about you. God is sovereign enough, to employ any mechanism necessary to draw your heart back to Him and Jesus is the only one who can fix you up. He uses conviction and not condemnation to set you free. God’s conviction will always make you truly repentant and His grace will make you embrace His love with no fear of condemnation. Today! stop beating yourself up because of what you did and turn to God to fix you. You are His creation and He knows how to deal with the issues you are struggling with now.

Apostle Paul was torn between one way and another and He clearly stated in Romans 7 :14-20 I can anticipate the response that is coming: “I know that all God’s commands are spiritual, but I’m not. Isn’t this also your experience?” Yes. I’m full of myself—after all, I’ve spent a long time in sin’s prison. What I don’t understand about myself is that I decide one way, but then I act another, doing things I absolutely despise. So if I can’t be trusted to figure out what is best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious that God’s command is necessary.But I need something more! For if I know the law but still can’t keep it, and if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best intentions, I obviously need help! I realize that I don’t have what it takes. I can will it, but I can’t do it. I decide to do good, but I don’t really do it; I decide not to do bad, but then I do it anyway. My decisions, such as they are, don’t result in actions. Something has gone wrong deep within me and gets the better of me every time.^21-23 It happens so regularly that it’s predictable. The moment I decide to do good, sin is there to trip me up. I truly delight in God’s commands, but it’s pretty obvious that not all of me joins in that delight. Parts of me covertly rebel, and just when I least expect it, they take charge.Paul later on came to conclude in verse 25 The answer, thank God, is that Jesus Christ can and does. He acted to set things right in this life of contradictions where I want to serve God with all my heart and mind, but am pulled by the influence of sin to do something totally different.Law would not save him from his sinful nature only Jesus Christ had the capacity to do what was beyond him.

Conclusion:

As you celebrate Christmas,It’s my heart desire for you to understand this important facet about God, HE IS MERCIFUL yes you heard me right, He is merciful. He knows the intentions of your heart and He is willing to give you another chance, to work things right with Him. Receive His love today and say NO to self-condemnation.
