Are you willing???

.
When God selected Elisha to follow Elijah in His prophetic mission, Elisha would have opted not to obey. In1 Kings 19 we learn that Elisha had come from a wealthy family, which was doing very well. Living in times, where there was so much wickedness by the children of Israel, God still found people that he could work with. Jezebel on the other hand, was busy plotting on a daily basis on how to eradicate all prophets of Yahweh but despite her threats there were people who refused to worship baal. In today’s fast growing culture and a lot of western ideologies, there is so much wickedness going around. God is still looking for willing vessels that he can use to spread his word to the lost world.

Stop focusing too much on all the negativity going around, what matters now is, are you willing to be used of God?

When God decides to send you to win souls, he prepares you and equips you, with what you need to finish the Task. Don’t be argumentative like Jonah, (Jonah 1) when God is giving you instructions? Do what he tells you to do.

God is looking for a vessel that is: Available, Empty from self and clean.

Every vessel is usually cut out to be filled, are you willing to be filled with God’s presence in order to be used of Him? Don’t get it twisted; it’s never about a strong personality that God is looking out for but a willing vessel. Your gifts are an asset to God and not a liability. What do you have in your handsExodus 4:2??That’s what God asked Moses. Stop imitating other people’s gifts, thinking that God will use you more! God wants to use you within your SHAPE

Get into a place of prioritizing God’s agendas first and don’t put much attention towards people opinions, they never called you God did.

As long as you are willing to be used by God you must contend with:

1. Discouragement:
Learn to encourage yourself in the Lord even in tough situations. Things would have been worse.1 Samuel 30:6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
2. Battle with the sting of Rejection:
Remember God’s word to Samuel ?1 Samuel 8:7.And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.People will always reject what they don’t understand .They will always focus on the vessel and it’s mistakes than the treasure within.
3. Learn to commonize Problems:-
There are no special problems every problem is an opportunity for you to grow.

God does not need much,

He only needs what you have.
