Reflecting on God’s Goodness.

How many times, do you pause and ponder on God’s goodness over your life??All of us, have plenty of reasons to thank God on a daily basis. Look at it, on this perspective, you have a roof on top of your head, food, clothing and you are well able to access internet to come across my blog, which sounds normal right! In the book of Luke 17:12-14 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off And they lifted up their voices and said “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us! So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. Jesus healed 10 lepers but out of the ten, only one returned to thank Him.
In the olden days, Leprosy was an infirmity, which caused people who suffered from it, to be referred as outcasts. I believe, they lived frustrated lives because nobody desired to be associated with them. Jesus healing the lepers, was such a great miracle, which guaranteed them freedom to be accepted back in the community, to interact and mingle with people freely.
Only one of the ten, remembered to thank Jesus, honestly! That was a huge miracle, which required one to be forever grateful, no physician had the cure for leprosy. Coming back to our time, You were trusting God to get something done like, walking in favor, getting a job you desired, getting a good house to live in, meeting great people but after attaining what you wanted, you forget one of the simplest things to do “Thanking God”. Do you have a rough idea, how many people would like to have what you have??

Embracing a heart of gratitude will take you a mighty long way and it all begins by being thankful to God, when things are good or bad.

Nothing is worth being taken for granted in God’s eyes, appreciate Him for everything. There are times you have planned out your life but along the way, things didn’t fall into place as you expected, still thank God for He knows what’s best for you. Don’t get it twisted in pursuing things, God is the main source and everything else ought to remain a resource 1 Corinthians 8:6 Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. Not everything you desire is good for you, some things God knows beforehand will actually destroy you.
Reflecting on Parents, they desire the best for their children, they try their best to give their children the best as per their ability but nothing breaks their hearts more like an ungrateful child. If that’s the case, towards our earthly Parents, what about God Himself who is our heavenly father?? Make it your habit,to be grateful to God for everything from the gift of life, to having a sense of reasoning, a smile whatever it is, make it a choice to be grateful towards God.
Stop this nonsense, of always complaining about everything that is  not going right. Have you ever been in the presence of somebody who complains at all times?? For me, that’s a total turn off, they just defile your heart and that makes you feel uncomfortable around them. God is never pleased by people who keep on murmuring, he too got pissed off! when the children of Israel, kept on complaining during their journey from Egypt, yet He had delivered them from the bondage of Egyptians. Exodus 15,16 & 17 Out of their complaining, they wondered in the wilderness for 40 years, a journey that would have lasted for only 11 days.

Champions in the making!Make your life simple and interesting by having a heart of gratitude towards God at all times.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
