I believe all of us have different needs and desires but are they inclined to meet God’s needs or are they inclined towards our own selfish motives like massaging our egos, feeding our insecurities, making us popular or giving us a name in our social circles?
Hannah’s desire to have a son was a need that met God’s need for a prophet over Israel. Yes, she was delayed, she was barren for some time, she was ridiculed and she was misinterpreted by a priest but that did not stop God from meeting her need that intertwined with His need, which only means, no human being or situation is that powerful to override God’s ordained destiny over your life as long as you are submitted to His will.

When our needs are geared towards meeting God’s needs, we become candidates that God can use for His Agenda being established for such a time as this. I’ll be honest with you my beloved, It’s hardly about us but about God being revealed in us and through us that compromise is never an option and settling for less does not become a bench mark if things don’t happen within our timelines.
