Are You Chocking God’s Blessings?

Being authentic about my journey of Faith, is one way of painting a clear picture of the grace of God to deliver and restore.Some years back, I would question myself why so and so was being elevated from one level to another, while I was just getting along with life.

But one day which was just a normal day while in prayer, God provoked me and told me, I was struggling with envy. which was displeasing Him big time. He was very clear and opened my eyes to read Ecclesiastes 4:4 Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless like chasing the wind. This got me to a place of repentance. brokenness, change of mind and that’s when God revealed to me, seasons and destiny paths are totally different.

Envy is certainly one of the most destructive forces on planet Earth,it forces you to take your eyes off your own ball and on to someone’s else game.Desiring what other people have and lack of contentment in what you currently have with an assumption, that someone’s else life, is more fulfilled than your own life ,is such a dangerous place to be emotionally and mentally???You loose sight of the value of what you are called to be  and gifted to do. You can’t appreciate your friend who bought a car, who bought a house, who got married or got promoted and you are busy asking yourself why her and not me??

Please hear me out my beloved, you will never enjoy life if you allow envy get past the doorsteps of your heart. It will create bitterness in your soul and lead you to behave in a way that will be so destructive to you and good relationships will be destroyed. What God has for you ,it is His nature to channel it to you ,at the perfect time.

Learn to overcome envy by:-

• Celebrating people.
• Embracing a heart of gratitude with where you are in life.
• Counting your blessings.
• Trusting God with your life.
• Having a clear perceptive of who you really are ,as a child of God.

Seasons are different, destiny paths are different and only God will channel the desires of your heart to you, in line with HIS WILL. Don’t chock God’s blessings upon your life by embracing an envious heart.

Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,  if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Corinthians 13:4

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up

Job 5:2

Surely resentment destroys the fool, and jealousy kills the simple.

Galatians 6:4

But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
