There Is An Afterward

Happy new year beautiful people, I give God all the glory for this amazing year, which I believe shall be our year of restoration of all things and God Himself, shall beatify our lives beyond our wildest imaginations. Looking forward for a beautiful year ahead filled with testimonies of God’s faithfulness, growth, divine encounters and I wholeheartedly trust God, to led me this year in posting life transforming content that will minister to you in a special way. It’s my hope your spirit will be revitalized, uplifted and upheld as you move forward to the treasure that awaits you, in this season of your life.
All in all, I had a wonderful holiday break ,a time of reflections ,rejuvenating and definitely seeking the will of God for this season. As we came to the close of 2018,I know most of us never achieved everything we had been praying for and in one way or another, some got discouraged while others like me, are still optimistic God will still accomplish His promises upon our lives. Whether God answered a certain prayer or not, it’s always important to keep a positive attitude that God is still faithful, He knows what’s best for us and the best time to perfect His will upon our lives.
So, let’s look at the life of Daniel in a minute and see how God perfected His will in Daniel’s life, despite of Daniel going through unpleasant seasons. Daniel 3:1-3 During the third year of King Jehoiakim’s reign in Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. The Lord gave him victory over King Jehoiakim of Judah and permitted him to take some of the sacred objects from the Temple of God. So Nebuchadnezzar took them back to the land of Babylonia and placed them in the treasure-house of his god. Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, his chief of staff, to bring to the palace some of the young men of Judah’s royal family and other noble families, who had been brought to Babylon as captives.
Daniel 3:6  Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were four of the young men chosen, all from the tribe of Judah.
Daniel along with three other young men ,were among the people who were taken into captivity in Babylon. Being a young man who feared God, I believe he did pray over Jerusalem not to be besieged, however things never turned out the way he had desired, which shows us that God does not always respond to our prayers but to His will. So, are you praying in line with His will or are you praying from a place of self-interest??
Daniel was taken captive, he was made an eunuch, which means he could not have a family of his own but despite of all that, God still perfected His perfect will through Daniel’s life later on.
Instead of Daniel getting angry with God or giving up on life:-
1.He honored God, Daniel 1:8 But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods Instead of getting angry with God that what you prayed for did not materialize in 2018, i challenge you today, play a different ball game which is honoring God with everything that concerns your life this year. Giving up was not an option for Daniel neither was comprise in his mind.
2.He Stepped out in faith Daniel 1: 11-15 Daniel spoke with the attendant who had been appointed by the chief of staff to look after Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Please test us for ten days on a diet of vegetables and water,” Daniel said.“At the end of the ten days, see how we look compared to the other young men who are eating the king’s food. Then make your decision in light of what you see.”The attendant agreed to Daniel’s suggestion and tested them for ten days.At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king. Stepping out in faith when nothing in the natural is making sense, is never a walk in the park but that’s the level God wants us to operate in while on Earth, in order to be extra ordinary. If Daniel did not take a step of faith in following an absurd path, he would just have been ordinary like the rest of the young men in the kings palace.
3.He became diligent in his assignment Daniel 1:21Daniel remained in the royal service until the first year of the reign of King Cyrus. Be diligent in your current assignment and God will usher you into your next level.
When you read the next scriptures in the book of Daniel, you will realize there was an afterward in Daniel’s life, when God honored and elevated Him to higher ranks in Babylon. No amount of pain, no amount of opposition, no amount of rejection or false accusations, can be compared with His afterward success. God gave him so much honor, power and authority in a land that he was once a captive.
The life of Daniel paints a clear picture, of how God can restore all things in your life and beautify every ugly scenario ,as Paul wrote in Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them..

Let’s learn from the life of Daniel, that God is far beyond our timelines, our setbacks, our plans and our reasoning . We were born for such a time as this, with a special assignment to offer this generation. However, as believers in the body of Christ, we serve the ultimate Big Thinker and our own limited plans, cannot match up with the BIG PLANS God has for our future. God can do anything and not just a little bit more than you have already asked for or dreamed of but FAR MUCH MORE, beyond your imaginations.

What are your wildest dreams? Your craziest ideas and deepest longings? Those things you cannot dare tell anyone but you have allowed your soul to imagine? It’s exactly that dream, that vision, those grand plans of yours that am talking about. If you will only believe in this season and stay consistent in obeying God’s instructions, God will do Far much more through you than you have ever imagined, because He is God of the afterwards. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him 1 Corinthians 2:9

Prayer.

Dear Lord thank you so much for 2019 and I submit your precious people into your hands this year, which are perfect hands to guide them, protect them and bless them. How I pray they will have divine encounters with you, they will experience an afterward restoration in their lives and your grace will be sufficient for all of us to step out in faith, obey you and honor you with our lives in the name of Jesus Amen.

Love ReinaBeaty
