Romans 13:10
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.
Love is such a powerful force and the work of the enemy, is to contaminate the hearts of men day and night, to keep them away from the most important aspect of life which is LOVE. Without Love, any human being is vulnerable to any form of wickedness, which ends up in causing a lot of pain. I believe most of us can attest, on a daily basis we encounter news from the media, our communities or people that we know, who are hurting due to pain inflicted to them, by people who actually don’t value the action or the language of LOVE.
Love will cause us see the best in people, despite their short comings.
Love will cause us value people, no matter the back ground they are coming from.
Love will cause us have compassion towards other people.
Love will uproot any attitude of pride, jealousy, malice, arrogance and bitterness.
Love will help us pray for people passionately.
Love will help us set healthy relationship boundaries.
Love will help us walk away from carrying offense.
Love will cause us have mercy, instead of being judgmental.
Love is a language, stronger than hate.
Love needs no weapon,It is its own defense.
In the end,Love will always win
And It’s only Love that will help us forgive the unforgivable.
God is love and we being His children, ought to Love like our Heavenly Father does.
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
No matter how powerful you might be,how famous or wealthy you are,without LOVE ??You are only existing and not living .Love is kind,patient,it does not brag,it bears,believes,hopes and endures.Love is not a feeling,it is a choice that will affect our feelings.However,true love is all about choosing God’s way of treating people no matter how we feel.
