Personally, am relying on God’s Grace to continue penning down articles that will edify the body of Christ and definitely win more souls to His kingdom..
Last weekend we had such a powerful yet informative singles meeting in my home church Jcc Parklands, dubbed The Singles Brunch. Wah!!!This particular singles meeting, was the real ice breaker, where single-hood is concerned. My very own Spiritual Mother Rev.Kathy Kiuna and our branch Pastor Andrew from Jcc Nakuru, spoke to us important fundamental truths on living a holy life while single, dating and married.
As I was penning down the notes, the Holy Spirt compelled me that I need to share some stuff that I learnt from that meeting, which will deliver many young people visiting my blog. He was very categorical when He whispered into my heart, that a lot of young people are in yokes and all they need is information, which will liberate and transform them. So, on this particular post, I will share few points that I gleaned from that meeting.
PUTTING GOD FIRST
We will only experience God’s power actively working in outlives, when we allow Him to take the priority of our lives, which means our time, plans and talents. We must treasure God above all lengths and when we do that, everything else will work out in our lives.. There is no real fun besides God because it will always come with trouble and guilt. God Himself is the treasure we ought to seek daily and not in things, power or family. If you are born again and you make a choice to get a spouse who is outside of God, you will end up crying in a moment. God is all sufficient to satisfy your thirsty soul and He alone, is capable of filling that void within you and not in material things or people.
Why we should treasure God: –
1.He is faithful to us despite our failures: –God does not reject you because you have failed. He still loves you and desires you to change your mind and follow His ways. He uses our failures, to give us a deeper understanding of His unconditional love for us.
2.He is the only one who can sustain us to eternity: We should honor God with our bodies because He alone can sustain us now and for eternity. While we should thank God for His blessings, we should treasure Him as the main blessing. -Stop following God for favor, money, power or things follow God for who He is. We should be growing in the awareness of our own insufficiency and God’s own sufficiency. Love God beyond what He can give you.
3.He rescued us from judgment so that we can tell of Him: – Why take refuge in anything else that is not God?? God ought to be our refuge at all times. We should treasure God above all things because He rescued us from Judgment You are an envy to your generation when you walk after God and allow Him to take preeminence in your life.
THE STAGES OF A STRANGE WOMAN
There would be no immoral woman, if there was no immoral man in the first place. The Spirit of the strange woman, depicts the spirit of sexual immorality, which does not just ambush you but takes you through a journey. Sexual Immorality will always cause unrest to your inner man.
Journey steps of the Spirit of the strange woman:-
Proverbs 2:16-19
To deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, Who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house leads down to death, and her paths to the dead; None who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life.
1.Exposure
The spirit of the strange woman will destroy your destiny that means, be careful at what you expose yourself to. Watch what you see because what you see you will take and what you take you will lay with. Proverbs 7:6-12 For at the window of my house, I looked through my lattice, and saw among the simple, I perceived among the youths, a young man devoid of understanding, passing along the street near her corner; and he took the path to her house. In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night and there a woman met him with the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart. She was loud and rebellious, Her feet would not stay at home. At times she was outside, at times in the open square, Lurking at every corner.
2.Enticing
The spirit of the strange woman is entertained through enticement Proverbs 7:21 With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with her flattering lips she seduced him.
3.Alluring
This spirt is seductive Proverbs 6:25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, Nor let her allure you with her eyelids
4.Flirting
It is flirtatious Proverbs 7:14-15 I have peace offerings with me; today I have paid my vows. So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.
5.Desire
This Spirit will lead you to have lustful desires 2 Samuel 11:2 Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. and from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. Matthew 5:28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart
6.Contact
This Spirit will pursued you to make contact, to whoever you are lusting after. Proverbs 7:22 Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks,
7.Guilt
After you have given way to this Spirit and you commit sexual sin ,you will end up feeling guilty by what you have done. Proverbs 6:27-29Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be seared? So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife; Whoever touches her shall not be innocent.
8.Normalization
Once the Spirit of the strange woman gets a hold you, sexual immorality later on becomes normal. Proverbs 6:32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul.
9.Aggravation
You become wild with no boundaries and you actually get to the point of encouraging others to do it.
10.Addiction
You become an addict to sexual sin. Proverbs 2:19 one who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life.
11.Judgment
You now head to sheol in your inner man 1 Corinthians 10:7-8 And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” 8 Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell;
Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness,sexual immorality, wickedness,covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Cost of entertaining the Spirit of the Strange woman
- Bitterness,
- Wounds and dishonor
- wasted years
- Lost wealth
- mourning
- Lost destiny
- Premature death
- Eternal condemnation
How to overcome the Spirit of the strange woman
√.Trust in God to keep you Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
√.Don’t be gullible or easily deceived: Make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lust. Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
√.Have a clear sense of your destiny Proverbs 6:26 For by means of a harlot, a man is reduced to a crust of bread; and an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.
√.Flee sexual immorality by getting married if you are single :Drink water from your own cistern 1 Corinthians 7:2Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
√.If you are married be very close to your spouse Genesis 2:25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
√.Be accountable to someone Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety
√.Know your limits 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
√.Purpose to live a concentrated life 1 Corinthians 6:18Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
1 Thessalonians 4 :7-8 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

1.Never get married for looks, wealth, fame or power get married for purpose..
2.You must be able to humble yourself in order to relate
3.Love is a decision not feeling.
