Take A Self Audit. – Reina Beaty

Hallo Lovelies,

Happy new month!!!October being the 10^th month, which is the month of manifestation may you manifest what God has been depositing in you. Working in an audit firm there are tons of stuff I have learn’t along the way .I have come to realize some accountants don’t like auditors at all. They dread being asked questions where there is need of accountability, if the accounts don’t match up. So why does any big company or organization require to have a yearly audit???

1.Audit facilitates payment of taxes and if a company does not pay taxes, trust me on this, the government will be on your case for failure of paying taxes which is an offence and can land you to jail.

2.Audit helps a company know, whether it’s operating on profit or loss.

3.Audit helps a company in managing growth and giving direction on how to invest.

4.Audit helps a company in strategizing long term goals.

5.Audit also give’s direction of how a company is doing to investors who would like to invest in it and help’s in budgeting matters.

Using the above simple illustration, auditors play a very important role in any company which desires to be in existence for quite a long time .I know someone reading this post is wondering where I am going with all this, as believers we need to take a self-audit of our own lives. What do I mean we need to take a self-audit???We need to be genuine enough with God and ourselves, in order to work on what God is urging us to work on.

Maybe you have hidden issues that nobody knows you are struggling with. Issues you are ignoring day after day from masturbation, pornography addiction, lying, corruption, gambling, adultery, pride, fornication, jealousy, malice etc. You might try to cover them up or you can ignore God’s promptings but listen!!! The devil does not play safe, he plays DIRTY and a dirty game is a destructive game

Am not penning down what I don’t practice. i do make mistakes, am imperfect, there are things I do and after sometime am like!!What on Earth was I thinking???One thing I really love about the Holy Spirit; He will always convict you when you are not in line with God’s will, He will always convict you when you are doing things which are after the flesh and He will always convict you when you are ignoring His promptings.

Trust me on this, a genuine self-Audit is not easy ,it’s a time where God breaks you and shows you that you being His child you are not pleasing Him, you are hurting Him with that addiction,with that nasty attitude or with your disobedience yet He loves you and desires the best for you. God does not break you to destroy you neither does He break you to hurt you!!!He breaks you with Grace; He breaks you to promote you, to position you and to place you at the right place for His own agenda and for your own good.

Let’s look at the life of Paul in the book of Acts 8:1-3 At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison. Early in his life when he was Saul He was at the forefront persecuting the church of Jesus Christ but look here, later on after God breaking Him yet not destroying him, He used Him tremendously to spread the gospel which he was once opposed to, people all over got converted, He wrote 8 powerful Books in the Bible, I mean he was a trail blazer in spreading the gospel of Christ.

Listen!!! God does not just use us for greater works, He qualifies us for greater works through different life process that work on our character, that stretches our faith or our mindsets in order to handle the assignment that awaits us.

If a company or an organization requires a yearly audit to facilitate growth and make long term investments, why on Earth do we expect God’s move in our lives, if we can’t take a genuine self-audit of our own hearts, our motives or our actions??How will He invest in us, if we can’t get to a place where we are naked before Him and allow Him to break us???How I pray God will minister to you in a special way, to unmask any pretense hidden in you that is hindering Him to break you.

Take note: God loves you so much and He will never break you, if there is nothing He wants to do in your life, He will never break you, if there is no greatness in you and He will never break you, if He does not love you. His love is the reason He breaks us.

Psalms 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, am broken before you, for there is nothing I can hide from you. I can’t pretend to you nor can I hide the nature of my heart from you. As I take a self-Audit of my own life, I give you unrestricted and unhindered access for you to refine me through your own refining fire. Refine me Lord and invest in me to be all that you created me to be in the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit Amen
