Deal With That Issue Now.

Most parents when they are raising their children, they are always cautious about their children safety, making sure they eat right, they guide them in making good choices and they also discipline them when they become naughty but with love. Whenever you ask any parent why they are doing what they do, they will be direct, “I want my children to turn out to be good citizens and i also love them”.

That’s the same case with God, He has laid down in His word what we need to do or what we need not to do because he knows our end from the beginning .He already knows if I don’t warn Cate, from hanging out with a certain person, she will definitely loose her track or if I don’t warn Brandon to work out on His character, he will definitely loss out on a lot of opportunities that I have laid ahead of Him. In this day and age a lot of Ideologies are being birthed from the worldly system and what is not in line with the will of God is being embraced as the right thing to do.

In the book of 1 Samuel 15 we have King Saul, who God Himself had appointed to rule over Israel, he was a mighty man of valour,power and authority. 1 Samuel 15:2-3 Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”Unfortunately His disobedience in failing to kill everything that belonged to the Amelikites made God to reject him as king over Israel 1 Samuel 15:17-19 So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel? Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’ Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?”

God knew the danger the amelikites posed for the children of Israel later on. I believe most of us know about Queen Esther and Haman who was from the Amelikites,his main agenda was to wipe out all the Jews. This issue could have been avoided, if King Saul obeyed God’s instructions first hand.

God will never force anyone to do something or follow a certain path but trust me when we fail to obey His leading’s; there are consequences a head of us which might turn us into bitter people with no direction.

What is it that the enemy is busy using as a point of contact, to derail you from walking into your breakthrough?? Maybe it’s an addiction, a destructive habit, an attitude or character that is keeping you, from walking into the fullness of God. Whatever it is that God is ordering you to kill, Honey! It’s a high time, you take the bull by the horns and deal with that issue.

Stop ignoring that small habit or attitude issue work on it now, that thing might grow up to be a big giant and 15 years in salvation, you’ll still be struggling with the same issues,just like a small fire in a forest which can consume a whole forest. 2 Corinthians.7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

The flesh has to serve the spirit man, you can’t live the way you want to live and expect different results. Few years from now you will be thanking God for dealing with that issue or you will be regretting why on Earth, you didn’t obey God’s voice .Our focus should be on trusting God, even when we do not understand His ways. We must also remember that God looks at things from an eternal perspective and that His ways are higher than our ways. God is just, righteous, holy, loving, merciful, and gracious.

You must move on and let go of your past.You can’t expect to elevate while still entertaining the same old situations in life!!All of your open doors are in your journey not your Memory Lane. Your past is only a place of reference not a place of residence. Shift your mindset to accommodate God’s plan.
