I believe ladies we have a tendency of buying the latest fashion trends in terms of clothes, shoes and handbags. After some time the clothes you bought might out grow you or the trend gets out dated and you end up not wearing them anymore. Before you know it, your closet is full of unwanted clothes and shoes. Most ladies find it hard to let go of these unwanted stuff maybe due to how much they purchased them or they just don’t want to let go. This happens a lot ladies!! Don’t think you are exempted, it might not be clothes, shoes or handbags, it can be something that was birthed out of the will of God and you are still contending with God in regards to letting it go.
In Genesis 16 after Sarah had waited on God for many years for a child, she decided to give God a helping hand. She allowed her maid servant Hagar, to lay with her husband and finally Ishmael was born. This idea was out of the will of God but was a product of lost hope in regards to Sarah. Along the way, there was in-house conflict between Sarah and Hagar. God finally fulfilled His promise,Sarah bore Isaac the son of promise but things turned out for the worse. God had to intervene and instruct Abraham to let go of Ishmael and Hagar. What seemed like a good idea to Sarah, eventually turned out to be a real problem in her own home.
I would like to address young single ladies, in relationships which are out of God’s will. It does not matter how much you love that guy who is not willing to commit, as long as he’s not in line with the will and purpose of God over your life! Honey, you have to let him go. God is more than willing to order your steps and align you with your miracle husband. A man that will love you, value you, respect you and protect you. Don’t sit around thinking who will take care of my children? I know it can be difficult to raise a child on your own but if a man has a another family ,don’t get yourself into yokes which will halt you from moving forward. God has said very categorically in his word Psalms 68:5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,Is God in His holy habitation. If a man is not a residential father, let him go and allow God to be the father of your children. If you still have the desire of getting married trust me honey! God will still locate you with a man who will love you even if you have 3 children and walk you down the aisle. In 1 Corinthians 2:9Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Save yourself from drama, heart ache, mistreatment and being disrespected.
Do you know many single mums, have failed to move on because they are still attached to Men who sired their children and have no intentions of ever giving them a home? Let me be real with you, you might have gone ahead of yourself but that child or children would still have been born out of you. I know some might say I don’t understand,
But a yoke is a yoke as long as it has the ability to hinder you from moving forward.
The case of Sarah would have been avoided if she waited on God and trusted him, but that was not the case. All single ladies in toxic relationships, don’t be afraid of letting go of that sugar Daddy, stop sowing seeds of breaking other people’s marriages, thinking that you will get away with it. Let go of that man and wait on God to give you your own. In Isaiah 34:16“Search from the book of the Lord, and read:Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.
Let God be your Jehovah Jireh, nobody has the right to take the place of God in taking care of you
Whatever God is urging you to let go,you have no business in asking Him, to rubber stamp it because He won’t.God knows very well, the issues you will go through for making that wrong move. You must acknowledge God as your source, if you want to experience a satisfying abundant life Job 12:10 In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?
“Most tragedies can be avoided, only if we make choices of letting go of dead things in our lives which have no ability to bring forth fruit”.
Meditate on these scriptures:-
1.God knows your end from the beginning
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;I ordained you a prophet to the nations..
2.God will definitely do a knew thing
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing,Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
3.God’s thoughts for you are Dynamic
Isaiah 55:9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
4.Trust God with your future
Proverbs. 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Take this from me:- “God desires what is best for you, when He urges you to let go of something, He ultimately wants to bring your way, what is rightfully yours”.
