There are many miracles recorded in the Bible but still many believe that miracles are a thing of the past. I am here to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth. Many of you right now may be enduring tragedy beyond your ability to comprehend and pain that torments the soul. I have great news for you, the Healer Jesus is more than willing to come through for you. When you are facing a crisis, that’s when you need a miracle. The bigger the problem looming on the horizon, the bigger the miracle you will need.
Some reading this post have heard devastating words like “incurable, untreatable or there is nothing more we can do unless there is a divine intervention. But let me be clear, we serve the God of the IMPOSSIBLE. There is nothing that He cannot do. The problem is not our Savior; the problem is us. It’s easy to believe that Jesus walked on this earth performing miracles, healing the sick and feeding the crowd with a boy’s lunch. But it’s difficult for us to believe that He will use this same miracle-working power in our own lives today.
But this is exactly what He has told us that He will give us the power to perform miracles, to lay hands on the sick and they will recover in Mark 16:17-18. John 14:12-14 says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
God is waiting for us to ask and invite Him into our situation. Are you waiting for a miracle in your life? Do you need something life-altering to save your life, your marriage, to renew your relationships or your finances? Stop allowing fear to grab you by the throat and open up your mouth and speak what you want to see. There is a miracle waiting to come out. If you will begin to speak life instead of death and blessings instead of curses, you will see that God is waiting to bless you beyond your ability to contain. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
3 John 1:2 tells us, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” His grace has never been withdrawn from us. The God of the Bible is a miracle working God. The power to heal, to save, to deliver, to set the captive free has never been diminished. The God that we serve is the same yesterday, today and forever –Hebrews 13:8 and of His Kingdom, there will be no end.
There are physical laws and there are supernatural laws and when we meet God’s conditions for a miracle the only thing that can happen is a miracle.
So, how can someone Receive a Miracle?
1. Confess your sins.
Psalm 66:18 tells us, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.” If you want God to hear you ask for forgiveness before telling Him about the miracle you need in your life.
2.Recognize that it is God’s Will to heal you.
3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
3.Believe that it is God’s will and expect a miracle.
Faith is not believing that God can, faith is believing that God’s going to do it and He’s going to do it for you now.
4.The healing power of God is activated by the Word of God.
Proverbs 3:1-2 tells us, “My Son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.”
5.You cannot earn your healing.
It was paid for at the cross.
6.You must act upon your faith.
In John 5:8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk, Jesus told the man at the pool of Bethesda to pick up his and walk.
7.Healing comes on the wings of the Holy Spirit.
God, the Father, wills it, Jesus, the Son, paid for it and the Holy Spirit brings it.
There are two sides to each of us the natural and the supernatural. In the natural we face tragedy and loss, heartbreak and defeat. But in the supernatural, through the power of Almighty God, we are gifted with immeasurable triumph for Christ paid the price in full at the cross, so that today we can live in total victory. There is a miracle waiting for you all you need to do is ask.
