My heart goes out to any woman who is struggling with a messy past and in one way, she can’t be able to see her self-worth through the eyes of God. I know there is a woman who will read this post that is already entangled in a toxic relationship ,bad habits, negative emotions and who is struggling with her sexuality due to sexual abuse but my God is more than willing to set you free today.
The enemy’s work is to corrupt God’s plan for women considering He knows the power we carry to change our families, an entire lineage and a nation. Whenever i see a woman in the streets as a hooker, whenever i see a woman in a toxic relationship ,whenever i see a woman addicted to drugs or struggling with negative proclivities,i don’t see them as bad women, even though what they are doing is wicked ,what i see are great destinies being destroyed by the enemy.
I know what it’s like to live through an ugly and shameful past, when your worth is attached to things ,how you are treated and what people say about you. However, am a testimony of a woman who knows what’s it’s like to have to overcome hardships that tried to rob me off my true identity in Christ.The smile I wear and the confidence I have is not because I have never experienced anything bad or i have it all together!The word of God is my daily assurance of my real worth as a woman.
I am not going to tell you about anything I didn’t have to live through first. But here’s the thing to remember, we always have a choice in how we see our circumstances, and in how we live. The bad things that happen and the negative things that we hear don’t have to control how we live or even how we see ourselves. They don’t have to keep you from becoming everything God wants you to be.You were bought at a price and not any price but an eternal price which cannot be equated with anything this world can offer.Jesus over paid the price on your behalf.1 Corinthians 6:20.
I want to submit to you today, God is so gracious, loving, and forgiving and He can use the broken pieces of your life and turn them into a beautiful story! There were many broken women in Scripture that are famous through the generations of how God transformed their lives and used their story for His Glory.Trust me on this Sis, Our Redeemer can handle that situation, surrender your past to Him and give Him access to fix you and make you a trophy of His Grace. You don’t have to go round in cycles another day.Romans 6:6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. In Christ you are no longer a slave to your messy past, you are no longer a slave to peoples opinions and you are no longer a slave to sin.
Prayer:-
Heavenly Father today let there a breaking of strong holds that are keeping your daughters from becoming all that you created them to be. For any woman entangled in toxic relationships, toxic emotions and toxic attitudes be set free in the name of Jesus. Holy Ghost do what no man can do in the lives of women in our generation. Let there be revival in our hearts that will ignite a change in our families, in our nation, in our marriages and in our place of assignment for your glory in the Mighty Name of Jesus Ameeen.
