A Greater Testimony Awaits You.

John 11:1-6 (NKJV)
Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Therefore, the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick. “When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.
John 11:40-43 (NKJV)
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
Happy new Month Beautiful People, am absolutely grateful to God for this Beautiful Month of March. He has been so faithful, so good and I choose to trust Him with the days ahead of me and hopefully that’s also your confession. Time might seem to be moving so fast yet it seems like your life has stopped at a juncture and you are wondering, when will I step into my next level, how will I manage to accomplish my goals, how will I get from point A to B of my vision or when will this situation in my child, in my finances, in my marriage, in my assignment, in my family or in my health ever change? But are you willing to trust God’s timing?
We all need to understand, it’s pivotal for us to do our part from a place of faith and obedience that He who promised is faithful to accomplish what He promised. Allowing God to do His part is being fully aware, He is not contained to our own time frame, His will over our lives is not dictated by our current situations and neither is He limited by our limitations.
Have you ever wondered why at times God takes time to intervene in some situations yet He is not limited to time? Yes, it’s our time that ticks and we are like, God when will you ever come through? Perhaps you felt He was holding out on you or doesn’t love you, otherwise He would’ve stepped in and saved the day already. This is exactly what Martha wondered from the above context of Scripture, after her brother Lazarus had been dead for four days. But it was exactly what Christ intended for God’s glory to be revealed in an exceptional way.
Right after He heard his friend was very ill, John says that because Jesus loved Lazarus, Jesus waited two more days before going to see him. When someone you love is deathly ill, you go to see him as quickly as possible right! But no, Christ had a far greater plan. He knew that if He waited until Lazarus was dead, the glory that would come from the situation would be much greater than if He had healed Lazarus while alive. Christ had a purpose for the delay. It was a marvellous purpose, though appearances deceived others to believe otherwise.
Sometimes we feel that God will give us what we desire or feel we need, because God is all-loving and would never withhold good things from us at a particular time. Yet, we don’t realize that sometimes waiting, suffering, and hardship produces an even better and greater testimony, far beyond what we expect or see with the eye. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV) But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him”. So, my beloved just hold on and never give up. Learn to take up the attitude of thanksgiving just like our Saviour Jesus, when He said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me”. Thanksgiving will always be a fertile ground for eruption of miracles to happen. Learn to thank God for the good, the bad and the ugly.

Our Heavenly Father will surely visit you and in a BIG, BIG WAY! Just hold on and never give up! God’s timing is perfect timing! Expect a visitation.
