On this post i’ll divulge on GIFTS, which is a continuation of my previous post God’s Master Piece.When God created man and placed Him in the Garden of Eden,there is one assignment that He commissioned Him, even before the man fell into sin Genesis 2:15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it.God gave man WORK.
He equipped man with all the necessary gifts to work and bring forth creativity, impact and productivity. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Genesis 1:28.Nobody in the face of the earth came empty and every human being has a treasure, which is precious and unique. You may not have it all together but you have something very special within you.
In the book of Matthew 25:14-29 Jesus gives a parable of three servants, who were left with talents to nurture. The one who got the most, did something to grow his talents Matthew 25;20-21 So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord but unfortunately, however the 3rd servant never perceived the importance of what he had been entrusted with and ended up losing his talent. Matthew 25:24-25 Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. and I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’
From the above context,I have come to observe, most people are fearful of how they are going to start or what other people are going to think about their ideas. One thing they fail to understand is,God gave them those gifts and they will stand accountable to Him alone when they fail.
Recently i was listening to Bishop Td Jakes.and there is a statement he made, that inspired me,which i thought it would be helpful to share on this plat form.
Just because your gift does not put you on a stage, does not mean it’s not valuable! God has given each of us unique gifts. We were all created with gifts to build the kingdom. We all have different gifts according to what God graced us with Romans 12:6a Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. But this does not mean, one is looked at better than the other in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Don’t confuse gifts and titles!!You are an asset not a liability! It’s time to turn the light on your gifts and walk boldly in them
There will always be opinionated people and they are here to stay, whether you work on your gift or not,someone will always have an opinion negative or positive. I believe, some reading this blog post,you have already discovered your purpose but you are waiting for that special moment to start navigating through your purpose.Please here me out ,small steps of progression are a thousand times better than a delayed step of perfection.Perfectionism procrastinates and paralysis progress.
When we fail to use the treasure that is within us, we end up living a painful life full of envy, bitterness and strife. Never belittle your gifts, we all have different gifts but how we use them is what really matters. We will never be equal in gifts but we can be equal in the efforts we put in whatever we agree to do.
Don’t get intimidated by those making the shots, obey your master’s plan and trust Him with it.

Tyler Perry one of the best film producers in America once said:-“It doesn’t matter if a million people tell you what you can’t do or if ten million people tell you no. If you get one YES from God that’s all you need”. A mighty move of God is never birthed by much but by little. God always use the little to show His mighty power:-Just like David and Goliath. David started small and God entrusted him with much. Education is great but it’s not the key to your success, your gift is.
Our God is such a great master ,how we perceive Him, is how He will move in our lives.

The third servant in the parable of talents, perceived his master in such a negative way and this resulted to losing his treasure. God Himself is a worker; He worked for six days and rested on the seventh day. Nobody and nothing should stop you from achieving the best in life. Make your hands dirty and work on your gifts.
Factors that abort our Gifts:-
1) Laziness:-It is a killer of our talents; it births disappointments, hopelessness, desperation and lack of motivation.
2) Fear:-Without faith its impossible to please God, have faith in God and believe in yourself.
3) Procrastination:-Postponing what you are supposed to do at a specific time with no genuine reason
4) Lack of Confidence
Ways to Explore your Gifts:-
1) Be Diligent:- in everything you do, whether small or big give it your best shot.
2) Be bold: Nobody ever achieved anything precious, without believing in himself.
3)Trust God: Without God, you can’t get any fulfillment in whatever you do.
4) Be persistent: Don’t give up easily, simply because a project didn’t work out, does not give you a ticket to give up.
