I know some readers getting to read this topic on my blog today are “kinda” shocked of my title, how on earth can Reina say I be grateful for every pain i have been through yet, she has no idea of what i have gone through!!! But let me burst your bubbles honey, nothing in the face of the earth that happens to us, is a surprise to God. He knows everything beforehand. You might have gone through stuff in life and thought in your heart, you would never be someone useful in the society. Maybe you were sexually abused as a child, you were raped or you were rejected by people whom you trusted and loved.God intentionally allows us to go through such painful experiences that we have resented and regretted most in our lives, to equip us for ministry for others.
When I look at women, who have ministries reaching out to street girls, most of them have been there and done that. When God delivers them from yokes of prostitution, they reach out to those street girls so passionately because they have a revelation of the amazing love and deliverance of Jesus and how He can transform lives. The same applies to former drug addicts or people delivered from the occultic world, they are well able to encourage those who who are struggling with what they used to struggle with, by sharing their own experiences.
It’s my prayer that we stop being bitter, angry or ashamed with our ugly pasts and see the bigger picture of God using us, to encourage people who are going through what we went through.
We all need forgiveness from God right!!! So it also applies to us, we need to forgive those who have hurt us, In Proverbs 18:19 A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city and contentions are like the bars of a castle.As long as you are in this earth, offenses will always come your way but the solution to walking in freedom, is being mature enough to forgive and not staying offended. Selfishness and being self-centered, is what makes most of us walk in un-forgiveness, which is a bondage that keeps most people captive.
We must choose to forgive ourselves first and the people who have hurt us, so that we can be able to reach out to others with the love of Jesus. You can’t be able to give what you yourself have failed to receive.
People around the world are going through so much pain but they hardly know where to turn to. They have no rough idea there is a true God, who still loves them unconditionally and desires to help them to live a victorious life through Jesus Christ.
People are more encouraged, when we share how God’s Grace helped us in our weakness than when we brag about our strengths
In my previous posts I have written about how I made mistakes, how people close to me took advantage of me but that does not mean am bound to be bitter for what they did. I literally made a choice to forgive them and I still love them because it’s for my own good. Am sharing my story because it will deliver someone, i might never meet in real life who is in a messy situation and does not know how he/she will get out .In 2 Corinthians 1:8-10 For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us.If Paul being an apostle, who was greatly used of God had kept his experience of doubt and depression a secret, millions of people would have never benefited from it.
God is actually working behind the scenes for you to have the best in life but are you willing, to forgive and share your past’s experiences in a positive way with others, so that they can know the real saving Grace of God????

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
The past cannot be RELIVED, what’s done is done BUT When we seek God’s forgiveness and turn away from sin, What seemed as a mess eventually works out for our good.
