Which kind of life, are you willing to live for God’s glory?? I believe everybody has an answer, according to one’s perception of God. Pleasing God, ought to be your priority in life and your most important task is to discover how to do that. In the book of John 4 a Samaritan woman, was busy minding her business until one encounter with Jesus transformed her life completely. Despite the Samaritan woman living a lifestyle that was not honorable, her encounter with Jesus changed her story and she became a worshiper.
Many are times, people search for things they think, can satisfy their hearts but unfortunately, nothing can fill the void that belongs to God. One of the most interesting points to ponder on is how this Samaritan woman had tried her heart out, in all the wrong places (the hands of men) but still, she could not get satisfied. No wonder she had several men in her life. Nothing and nobody can take the place of God in your life. Surrender is the ultimate heart of worship.
We give ourselves to God, not out of fear or duty but in love. Heart issues like pride, fear, doubt, anger, envy or lust etc. are factors which hinder us, from being in God’s presence. When we talk of dwelling in His presence, it’s not a house that you get in, as far as God is omnipresent, His presence moves with you wherever you go. This is what God told Moses in Exodus 33:14 (NKJV) “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give the rest”. Means the presence shall go with you wherever you go, at your work place,when going to catch a bus or flight.And not only will the presence of God go with you but will find rest in His presence. Anyone in the Bible who embraced God’s presence benefited from it. Look at Abraham, Moses, Elijah and Elisha their lives were exceptional.
The more you realize how much God loves you, the easier surrender becomes.
God is not cruel or a bully who uses force to coarse us into submission? He does not try, to break our will but woes us to Himself. There are many circumstances in which we can dictate the condition of our hearts, some have made their careers, others is a spouse, children, money, wealth, fame but all of them are pure vanity without God’s presence. God created us in such an interesting way, regardless of how much we achieve, people will still strive to achieve more. Seek God first and all these other things will follow suit.
Mirror on God’s word and be intentional to chase after Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,before i speak incline my heart to hear from you first. Before i make a decision ,let me hear your instructions first and i’ll be more than willing to obey your voice.Before i get out of my bed ,i choose to submit my day to you and before i sleep, i choose to always be thankful and at peace that what you desired me to do for the day i did it and it pleased you.In Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
