Power of your spoken words

Hellooooo…
There are a lot of things happening around us, from negative publicity about the Church, Government, Economy to Marriage. Regardless of where you are, you might have been tempted, to think and speak the way the worldly people do. Let’s be real here! No sugar coating! Be it in, complaining or just being negative about a particular situation you have been in such a situation. If you are in school or an office environment, there will always be people who will speak negative about everything, from how life is hard to how livelihood has turned out to be expensive.
As believers, we have a great advantage of knowing our true identity is in Jesus and our hope should not be based on what is happening around us, but on God. I will look into an amazing Prophet in the Bible who God greatly used ‘Elisha’. In 2 Kings 7 there is a catastrophic Famine in Samaria, which leads people to eat their own children for survival. During this horrific time, a prophetic word is spoken by Elisha on how they will walk in plenty within a very short time (A span of 24 hours). Few believed his word and unfortunately, there was this Officer of the king, who disapproved with what Elisha said, which was due to His mind set on the current situation that was happening in Samaria. We read that Elisha told Him due to his unbelief, he will see the word unfold but he will not partake of it. True to God’s word he delivered the people of Samaria and delivered them from the drought exactly as Elisha had spoken. This Scripture clearly illustrates the power of our spoken words. If the Officer had just believed and spoken positive towards the prophecy, he would have enjoyed God’s deliverance.
How many times, is God telling you to trust His word but you are busy contradicting Him by the words you speak? The world we live in is controlled by the words we speak. Speak of positive stuff you want to see and before you know it, you will be living in the reality of your spoken word. Stop making contributions, in office talks where your colleagues are giving out their opinions contrary to what you believe in. You will attest to me, at times you find yourself in heated discussions and you are tempted to contribute to their talks and ‘honestly speaking’ they are way out of God’s will. You would rather be branded a fool, for not contributing to their negative talks, than contradicting God’s word over your life, by speaking negative stuff Proverbs 18:20 A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
Speak words of life like:-I will live a long and healthy life, I will honor God with my life,I will live in the best, I will enjoy my marriage, My children will turn out right and serve God, I will drive the best, I will live a life of honor and favor, the list is endless but keep on speaking what you want to see. The principle of God’s Kingdom is, we speak what we want to see. There can never be confession without possession. Nothing in the physical can block what is happening in the spiritual realm.Take charge of your words and speak what you want to see even though nothing is suggesting in your current situation, For we walk by faith, not by sight 2 Corinthians 5:7

Take note:-Guarding your words will cause you to live a victorious life which honors God

Hebrews 11:3

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible

We must come to total conviction, what God has said is ’Valuable’ And see things from His perspective.
