Observing Through God’s Eyes.

.

I don’t know about you, but being a born -again believer does not promise you a walk in the park. There are seasons in life that people, who you love, will attack and falsely accuse you and you are left wondering how the journey in your walk with God will unfold. I believe, everybody has had such an occurrence in life and some people have ended up, having offense towards people for ages. They will do whatever it takes to avoid any contact with anyone who has hurt them before.
Reacting according to our hurt feels so much better in the moment, than taking the time to pray and intentionally deciding to see our enemies through eyes of compassion. Everybody doesn’t need to have close contact with you, especially when they are draining you, let God led you to love them at a distance than walking in offense.
We learn that, almost everywhere Jesus taught and performed miracles, He was mocked, ridiculed by elite religious leaders, however He never got offended nor allowed the offense to intimidate Him. He loved on them nonetheless. You need to know, when greatness is inside of you it has to be drawn out and at times it is the attack, false accusations that draws the greatness out. In 1 Samuel 19 & 1 Samuel 24,  despite of David constantly being attacked by King Saul, that did not permit him to have any vengeance towards him and his household. He chose to honor Saul even through the challenges.
Let God be your voice and defense. Most of the times you will realize that, some people may choose to treat you unfairly but in real sense, God is using them to work on your attitude, so that you can see people the way He sees them. On other occasions, it might be the enemy using people, to pollute your heart to walk in anger and bitterness, so that you miss out on your break-through. Both instances are very crucial but the word of God is very clear, on how we ought to handle such situations.
Even though it takes longer to press in to get a new attitude and perspective, in order to live a meaningful Christian life, It might feel better in the moment to satisfy our fleshy urges by gossiping, cursing, casting mean glares or seething in anger; but in real sense, we are the ones being poisoned by what we think is making us feel better.
When we bear grudges against anyone, we think it’s protecting us, but actually it’s allowing that person to continue to have power over us.I pray that the Lord will give you breath of fresh air through the power of His Word today and help you see the injustice you’ve faced with His perspective. In Hebrews 4:12the Word is living and active and cuts like a sword between flesh and spirit. I believe the below scriptures will help you to get freedom, from the grip of injustice and deliver you from cultivating a bitter heart caused by your enemies.

1.Love your enemies.

Luke 6:27

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.”

2.Learn to Forgive

Mark 11:25

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

3.Pray for those who falsely accuse you

Matthew 5:44

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
4.Vengeance belongs to God

Romans 12:19-21

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

5.Love bears all things.

Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

6.Love beyond the scars.

Matthew 5:46-47

For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

7.Only God can reward you beyond your expectations.

Proverbs 25:21-22

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you.

8.God is willing to give you the very best but root out bitterness & offence.

1 Peter 5:10

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

“Nothing happens in your life is insignificant,God uses all of it to mold you,for your ministry to others and shape you for your service to Him.
