Wow!! What a title. Most of us don’t understand why we have to tithe and why we tithe. Many believers ask funny questions like, should I tithe 10% of my gross income or net income? Some people even tend to argue with God, in regards to payments of their bills over their tithes. In Malachi 3:10-12 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house and try Me now in this . Says the LORD of hosts,If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing. That there will not be room enough to receive it.And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, Says the LORD of hosts;And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the LORD of hosts,
God Clearly states what we need to tithe and the response of God towards our tithes. Whenever we tithe we have ultimate God’s divine provision and protection in whatever we lay our hands to do. The dynamic of the tithe, is a recognition that we have solely received from God. Pause and remember the days you didn’t have any source of income, you kept on promising God once you get employed or have a generating income business you will faithfully give back to what rightfully belonged to Him. You finally got that well-paying job or an opportunity to do a business and while making your monthly budget you leave God out of it. How sad!!!
Nothing that God tells us to do is redundant; we must learn to totally trust God’s intentions over our lives.
The world will always have opinionated people, who distort God’s word in regards to tithing. Our response should be :-we live in this world but not of it. There are two ways you can choose to prosper in life:-trying to make it through our own way and struggling according to the worlds system or doing what God says y tithing all your increase and giving offerings as God leads.Stop living by emotions and making decisions based on how you feel. Make your decisions based on God’s word and trust whatever He instructs you to do. Whenever we give towards God’s kingdom we are flowing in the nature of God .He gave us His very best “Jesus Christ”. Every time the tithe appears the blessings of God are evident. How much are we supposed to tithe from our Proceeds??Good question, 10% of our Gross income Leviticus 27:30-34 we see Moses giving the tithe as a law. The first ten percent is called “holy,” or set apart, as belonging to God. The Israelite’s were to return to God what was already his, and in so doing, recognized His provision.
Principles of the tithe:-

God does not bless nothing.

God Blesses what is committed to His purpose and His glory.

God blesses what is brought to Him.

The blessing always flows:-Create a vessel that the blessings of God flows.

The blessing of God focuses on need in time of trouble.
